-- For those wondering, the future of the ECW Championship has not yet been decided on. Though ECW will cease to exist next week, the belt may linger on in some fashion. Internally, some are lobbying to keep the belt, but ultimately, Vince McMahon will decide its fate and he hasn't made a decision yet. Those pushing to keep it feel it can still be used as an attraction for undercards of secondary pay-per-view events.

-- D-Generation X are featured on the cover of Pro Wrestling Illustrated's annual year-in-review issue. You can view the cover at www.pwi-online.com. The cover of this year's wrestling almanac has also been disclosed.

-- Recently released TNA performer Shawn Daivari (a/k/a Sheik Abdul Bashir) returned to Ring of Honor at Friday night's television taping in Philadelphia. The former WWE star cut a promo forsaking his previous gimmicks and ripped on the people of Philadelphia, saying he could walk away from guaranteed money because he was rich from working hard, unlike them. His appearance will air on ROH on HDNet in a few weeks. Daivari last appeared for Ring of Honor in July 2004.
